The Hundred’s inaugural season will start on 22 of July . Eight teams will participate in the tournament. Final of the tournament will be held on 21st August a one month of tournament with 2:30 ours of 32 games in League and 2 in the playoffs.
Know the basics of The Hundred
- It’s 100 balls per innings. Whoever scores the most runs wins.
- The fielding side change ends after 10 balls.
- Bowlers can deliver either five or 10 consecutive balls.
- Each bowler can deliver a maximum of 20 balls per game.
- Powerplay : Initial 25 balls will be powerplay with 2 fielders outside circle
- In total there will be 32 matches in the league.
- Each team will play four matches at home and four matches away.
- There will be a bonus match against their nearest regional rivals.
- Venue for The Hundred : Birmingham, Leeds, London, Nottingham, Manchester, Southampton and Cardiff.
- Top 3 teams to qualify for Playoffs.
- Table Toppers will play Final.
- Other two teams will play Eliminator and winning team will play final.
- Each squad will be made up of 15 players with a maximum of three overseas stars.
- Each team can play all three overseas player in final 11.
